We are seeking a SHEQ Compliance Leader to join our team at the Marshalls Landscape Products site in Eaglescliffe.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will oversee SHEQ compliance across the Eaglescliffe site, ensuring adherence to internal standards and external regulations. Your responsibilities include monitoring SHEQ policies and procedures, supporting environmental planning, managing external contractors, leading SHEQ investigations, and driving continuous site improvements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Certificate level training (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or IEMA Environmental Management)
• Experience in a medium/large manufacturing or quarrying environment
• Knowledge of current Safety and Environmental legislation
• Experience with audits, corrective actions, and quality management systems
• Ability to manage customer complaints and non-conformances
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving skills, e.g., root cause analysis (advantageous)
