A broadband service provider in Scotland is seeking a quality audit professional to implement robust auditing processes for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. As we continue our mission to provide future-proofed, ultra-fast fibre broadband to underserved, rural communities across Scotland. HBNL is looking for a quality audit professional to orchestrate and implement robust Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) auditing processes that align with national and international standards.
The role involves conducting comprehensive audits to evaluate the effectiveness and compliance of processes, systems,and products with established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This includes a meticulous review of documentation and an assessment of the implementation of policies and procedures. By liaising with Principal Contractors, the job holder will ensure that Project Safety, Quality, and Environmental Plans are prepared and executed in accordance with HBNL policies and standards.
In addition, the successful candidate will support in-depth accident and incident investigations, aiming to establish root causes and provide strategic advice and guidance,sharing lessons learned across the organisation. They will also conduct detailed Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) audits of both internal operations and contractor activities. Their efforts will be crucial in maintaining an environment of continuous improvement and compliance across all business functions,thereby fostering a culture of excellence and proactive risk management. Through a commitment to transparency and rigorous evaluation, the role holder will drive the organisation towards meeting its compliance and safety objectives, ensuring that quality assurance is embedded into the fabric of our operations.
