Job summary

ARCA Resourcing is recruiting an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join a major energy infrastructure project in the Uxbridge area. You will provide practical SHEQ support on site, run audits, inspections and safety tours, and assist with RAMS, Construction Phase Plans and safe systems of work.

You will monitor CDM 2015 compliance, deliver inductions and toolbox talks, support environmental and quality requirements, and prepare SHEQ reports and KPIs.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent – minimum requirement.
• Previous SHEQ, HSE or Health & Safety Advisor experience.
• Strong understanding of CDM 2015 and UK H&S legislation.
• Experience with audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical SHEQ support across the project, carrying out site inspections, audits and safety tours.

SHEQ Advisor – Power Transmission & Distribution

Location: Uxbridge, West London

Contract: 6 Months

IR35: Inside IR35 – Allowances + Expenses Paid

ARCA Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join a major engineering and infrastructure project within the power transmission and distribution sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to support a large-scale, high-profile energy infrastructure project in the Uxbridge area, working closely with site, engineering and project teams to maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.

The Role

As SHEQ Advisor, you will provide practical SHEQ support across the project, carrying out site inspections, audits and safety tours, supporting RAMS, Construction Phase Plans and safe systems of work, and assisting with incident investigations.

You will provide guidance to operational and project teams, monitor compliance with CDM 2015 and UK legislation, deliver inductions and toolbox talks, support environmental and quality requirements, and produce SHEQ reports, KPIs and management information. A key part of the role will be promoting a positive and proactive safety culture across site.

About You

We're looking for a confident and experienced SHEQ professional with experience within Power, HV, Transmission & Distribution or another safety-critical engineering environment.

Relevant backgrounds could include power and utilities, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy/BESS, heavy civils, rail, industrial construction or major infrastructure projects.
