Qualifications

  • Proven background in civil engineering, construction, or groundworks environments.
  • Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations.
  • Experience leading safety inspections, audits, and investigations.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • IT literate with solid report writing and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert SHEQ advice to site and project management teams.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and audits, ensuring high standards of safety and compliance.
  • Lead incident investigations and deliver effective root cause analysis and improvement plans.
  • Engage with site operatives and supply chain partners to promote safe working practices and wellbeing.
  • Support the development and implementation of safe systems of work and risk assessments.
  • Attend project review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders on SHEQ matters.
  • Lead or support internal health, safety, and environmental improvement projects.

Overview

TradesTech Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor to recruit an experienced SHEQ Delivery Advisor.

This role is perfect for a health and safety professional who thrives on improving safety culture, engaging with project teams, and driving continuous improvement across multiple construction sites. You\'ll play a key part in maintaining compliance, supporting project delivery, and promoting a proactive safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert SHEQ advice to site and project management teams.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and audits, ensuring high standards of safety and compliance.

Essential Qualifications:
