Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a SHEQ Advisor based in the North London region to strengthen our SHEQ team within the Thames Water Framework. The role will report to the Regional Senior SHEQ Advisor and cover advising the SHEQ team across projects.

Key duties include maintaining rigorous SHEQ risk controls, organising audits, conducting accident investigations, and collaborating with clients and project teams to improve safety and quality performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with UK health & safety legislation, CDM Regulations and HSE guidance.
• SHEQ management systems experience and audit processes.
• Data analysis, reporting and trend identification.

Responsibilities

• Understanding our approach to managing SHEQ risk and delivering best in class performance.
• Maintaining a dynamic and driven approach to supporting SHEQ across the company.
• Organising audits and supporting delivery and execution of SHEQ assurance visits.
• Conducting accident/incident investigations and/or supporting investigations by the H&S Team.
• Integrating with wider project teams to understand day-to-day challenges.
• Working with clients to deliver collaborative approaches to SHEQ.
• Exposure to the project management lifecycle of project delivery.
• Highlighting opportunities for sustainable solutions.
• Trending and analysis of key performance data.
• Maintenance of externally certified management systems.

You will report directly to the Regioanl Senior SHEQ Advisor and your role will cover advising the SHEQ team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Understanding our approach to managing SHEQ risk and delivering best in class performance.
• Maintaining a dynamic and driven approach to supporting SHEQ across the company.
• Monitoring and reviewing the closure/completion of corrective actions to ensure that they deliver clear improvements and have been suitably and effectively implemented.
• Organising audits and supporting the delivery and execution of SHEQ assurance visits.
• Conducting accident/incident investigations and/or supporting investigations conducted by the H&S Team.
• Integrating within the wider project teams to understand day to day challenges.
• Working with our clients to deliver collaborative approaches to SHEQ.
• Exposure to the project management lifecycle of project delivery.
• Highlighting opportunity for sustainable solutions.
• Trending and analysis of key performance data.

Technical Competencies:
