Job summary

Onward Homes is seeking a Scheme Manager for our Specialist Living team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Liverpool. The role provides intensive housing management at sheltered schemes and requires a full UK driving licence with access to a car.

The position is 20 hours per week across Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary and generous leave and benefits. You will ensure health, safety and compliance standards are upheld and engage with partners to support tenants.

Qualifications

• Experience with older people in a service environment.
• Experience in building management and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and risks.
• Ability to work on own initiative within a dispersed team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience improving services and customer satisfaction.
• IT skills – MS Office to intermediate level.
• DBS check satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Provide tenants with an agreed level of intensive housing management and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure sheltered housing schemes meet health and safety and compliance standards; maintain logbooks.
• Liaise with health and social care providers and voluntary agencies to support tenants.
• Coordinate communication with tenants, their relatives, the community and external parties.
• Oversee day-to-day scheme operations, report repairs, health and safety concerns, and maintain security.
