Job summary

Kinetic Industrial in Middleton is recruiting 2 Sheet Metal Workers for a temporary to permanent position in a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. The role is 38 hours per week with enhanced overtime and a starting rate of £14.48 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5x after 38 hours.

You will cut, bend, and assemble metal components, working with various thicknesses from stainless steel to heavy mild steel, as part of a growing precision engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sheet metal worker is a must have.
• Excellent communication skills - written and spoken.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Willing to work Over Time when needed.
• Able to get to and from Middleton with ease daily.
• Good fabrication skills and experience with different tools.

Responsibilities

• Using saws, lasers, plasma cutters, or guillotines to cut metal sheets to size.
• Bending, folding, rolling, and pressing metal into required shapes.
• Building components.
• Assembly work.
• Working with a wide range of metal thicknesses, from delicate stainless steel to heavy mild steel.
