Job Title – Sheet Metal Worker – Stansted

AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) is inviting applications for Sheet Metal Workers to be based at Stansted Airport in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with existing Sheet Metal experience, capable of working independently and demonstrating a flexible attitude in a fast-changing environment.

With 600 aircraft, including the Boeing 737-8200 “Gamechanger” and a growing Ryanair UK Fleet of 737-800, Ryanair offers excellent career opportunities and progression within the industry.

Duties as a Sheet Metal Worker

1. Perform maintenance on Ryanair’s fleet of Boeing 737-700/800, B737-8200, A320, and Learjets.
2. Carry out tasks such as grinding, drilling, riveting, bending, and applying anti-corrosion protection.
3. Operate tools including bending machines, guillotines, drills, and grinders.
4. Work on aircraft to determine the most suitable repair solutions in accordance with documentation and implement them.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 5 years of Sheet Metal experience.
2. Basic knowledge of materials used in aviation.
3. Understanding of technical drawings.
4. Manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail.
5. Willingness to work in shifts.
6. Team player.
7. Right to work and travel in the UK and Europe.
