Sheet Metal Worker / Site Fitter

Location: Liverpool

Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent

Working Hours: Mon-Fri (39 hrs/week + overtime)

Job Overview

Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Site Fitter passionate about precision and quality workmanship? Join our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in high-end stainless steel fabrications and bespoke joinery for the commercial catering sector.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Travel to customer sites (Mon-Fri) to install manufactured goods.
2. Interpret engineering drawings to assist in the production and installation of sheet metal components.
3. Work with stainless steel using TIG and MIG welding techniques.
4. Take sheet metal projects from pattern development through to final assembly.
5. Work both independently and within a team to deliver projects on time and to high standards.
6. Maintain high health & safety standards on-site and in the workshop.

What We're Looking For

1. Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and site fitting.
2. Skilled in MIG and TIG welding, particularly with stainless and mild steel.
3. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
4. Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
5. A positive, reliable, and flexible attitude.

Hours & Pay

1. Core hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-12:30pm.
2. Overtime available as needed.
