Universal Wolf Ltd in Blyth, Northumberland, is seeking Fabricators and Welders to join our growing team. The role focuses on producing high‑quality sheet metal parts, interpreting engineering drawings, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will work a 38.5 hour week with an option for a 4‑day week to enhance work‑life balance. We value passion, teamwork and continuous development as part of our ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Fabricator/Welder and reading manufacturing drawings.
• Time Served in a fabrication environment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality standards with meticulous attention to detail.
• Contribute to Lean Factory initiatives and reduce downtime to boost output.

Our working week is 38.5 hours and if you are looking for a good work life balance, you will also have the opportunity to work a 4 day week!

What you’ll do:

• You’ll often be working on new products and looking for improved ways to make them, as we onboard new projects. This keeps the talent in our team thriving!
• Our quality standards are very high with minimal margin for error which requires a high level of detail to ensure we produce an exceptional product for our clients
• You’ll be a critical colleague and by working smartly you’ll help minimize downtime and boost output through our a fast-paced operation
• We’re on a journey to a “Lean Factory” so your ideas and suggestions will be invaluable

We’d love you to:

• Have some experience as a Fabricator / Welder
• We would love you to be Time Served, but you don’t need to be, as long as you have previous experience
• You need to be able to easily read and interpret manufacturing and engineering drawings
