Sheet Metal Worker Role at Swift Temps Ltd Engineering Division

Swift Temps Ltd Engineering Division is seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our client's team in Bradford.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in TIG welding, proficiency in working with thin plate stainless steel, and the ability to fabricate components based on technical drawings. Familiarity with using a press brake is essential for success in this role.

About the role & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Engineer, specializing in TIG welding and working with thin plate stainless steel.
• Execute TIG welding techniques on thin plate stainless steel to ensure high-quality, precise, and durable welds.
• Utilize technical drawings to fabricate sheet metal components with accuracy and precision.
• Work with various sheet metal materials, primarily focusing on thin plate stainless steel.
• Operate a press brake to bend and form sheet metal according to design specifications.
• Familiarity with various welding techniques and equipment.

Compensation and Working Hours

Rate of pay: £15.50 to £16.00, depending on skill level and previous experience.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
