Job Description

We are seeking a Sheet Metal Technician to join our client's Engineering Team in Aberdeen. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and modification of helicopter structural components and structures in a Base Maintenance, Line, and Workshop environment.

Job Requirements

1. Experience: Experience performing sheet metal repairs on rotary or fixed-wing aircraft.
2. Skills:
   • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and produce work within specified tolerances.
   • Proficiency in IT skills and adaptability to learn new systems.
   • Willingness to work rotating shift patterns.
   • Excellent teamworking skills, with a strong work ethic and safety awareness.
   • Motivated to maintain high standards of work.
3. Qualifications: Formal qualification in Aviation or Oil & Gas sheet metal work, such as City and Guilds or equivalent.
