Temp to Perm opportunity

Our long established, prestigious manufacturing client, based in Romford, is looking to recruit a temp to perm Sheet Metal Fabricator

  • Manufacture aerospace components according to procedures and instructions provided
  • Setting and operating machinery used in the manufacture of sheet metal components
  • Verify the conformity of parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies in line with engineering drawings, the quality management system and any special customer requirements
  • Identify and report non-conformance as per the Company procedure
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Health Safety Environment policies and procedures
  • Operate within the mandatory customer and internal specifications and inspect products accordingly
  • Technical skills : Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, tool operation, and safety procedures.
  • Mechanical aptitude : Ability to work with tools and machinery, understand how they function, and troubleshoot problems.
  • Problem-solving skills : Ability to identify and solve issues that arise during fabrication.
  • Reading and interpreting drawings : Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings.
  • Communication skills : Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and other team members.
  • Manual dexterity : Fine motor skills for operating tools and machinery with precision.
  • Teamwork and collaboration : Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn : Openness to learning new fabrication methods and technologies.
