Sheet Metal Fabricator
Location: Staplehurst, Kent
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Hours: Monday Friday
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator looking to work with a cutting-edge manufacturer in a long-term, permanent role? Join a family-run, industry-leading manufacturer at an exciting stage of growth supplying customers across the UK, Europe, USA, and Asia.

With a fully equipped, modern manufacturing facility based in Staplehurst, Kent, they offer a stable and rewarding role for skilled individuals ready to be part of an ambitious and expanding team.

What You ll Be Doing:

  • Fabricate, bend, form, and finish sheet metal components in line with detailed customer specifications
  • Occasionally support spot welding activities for bespoke MuMetal products
  • Ensure all fabricated parts are accurate, high quality, and meet the required standards
  • Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
  • Support a wide range of projects from start to finish, working as part of a close-knit team

What We re Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with fine limit sheet metal
  • Strong understanding of fabrication and sheet metal assemblies (including integration of machined parts)
  • Proficient in general sheet metal duties such as deburring, drilling, and spot welding
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Previous experience working within an ISO9001 quality system
  • TIG welding skills would be beneficial (but not essential)
  • Experience operating:
  • LVD CNC Press-brake
  • Power-assisted rollers

This is a hands-on, workshop-based role that would suit someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and thrives in a high-spec, technical environment.
