Job summary

Element Materials Technology Ltd. is seeking a SHE Coordinator to join our Safety & Compliance team at the Stockport site, with occasional travel to other Emissions locations in the UK.

The role focuses on implementing SHE programmes, supporting risk assessments, inspections and training, and reporting to the Safety & Compliance SHE Manager. You will develop knowledge of Element's SHE programs and support continuous safety improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in a coordination role.
• Interest in Safety, Health and Environmental management.
• Good organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident presenting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Teams/SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of SHE programmes across our Stockport site and UK locations.
• Coordinate site inspections, audits and statutory inspections.
• Assist with risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and SOPs.
• Monitor operational activities and contractor safety compliance.
• Support incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Maintain SHE records and KPIs using company systems.
• Coordinate safety equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and training.
• Support SHE committee meetings and safety communications.
• Work with operations to identify risks and improve safety.
