Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science, chemistry, or engineering.
• DGSA certification.
• Experience in regulated environmental and chemical compliance at industrial sites.
• Strong knowledge of UK EA permitting, REACH, dangerous goods regulations, and Home Office Controlled Drugs licensing.
• Track record of credible regulator engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own the regulator-facing licence and permit estate across multiple regulatory regimes.
• Lead the regulator breach-notification workflow and post-breach remediation tracking.
• Oversee regulatory impact assessments for new substances and materials.
• Provide evidence-pack sign-off for regulator inspections and audits.
• Manage the regulatory interface with PT&D and R&D on new substances.
