Job summary

BRUSH Group in Scotland seeks a SHE Manager to promote a positive health and safety culture across civils construction and M&E sites. You will ensure compliance with legislation, policies and procedures, and help achieve SHE KPI targets.

Reporting to BRUSH Power Solutions' Senior SHE Manager, the role requires experience in sub-station HV/LV environments, NEBOSH, IOSH, and readiness to travel across Scotland and the UK.

Qualifications

• Tech IOSH, or working towards.
• Relevant experience in a sub-station, HV/LV environment
• NEBOSH General / Construction certificate
• Experience with BS EN ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
• Excellent understanding of current SHE laws and legislation
• A good understanding of fundamental Civil, Mechanical and Electrical principles
• Regular travel in Scotland and across the UK

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice for all matters relating to statutory requirements concerning SHE factors to site teams, managers, employees and subcontractors.
• Implement and maintain procedures to meet ISO14001 and ISO45001 across BPS and BRUSH Group.
• Assist with accident investigations, provide reports and identify root causes; implement action plans to prevent re-occurrence.
• Advise on fire regulations, hazardous substances, work at height, noise, HAV and occupational diseases.
