Location: Coleshill, Birmingham (flexible start and finish but site based) - single site

Salary: Up to £50,000 + up to 16% pension, bonus potential, and 27 days holiday + bank holidays on top.

HSE Recruitment is working with a manufacturing company seeking a SHE Manager based at their Coleshill factory.

You will report to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the Head of HSE and work alongside a broader EHS team. Your role involves providing direction, support, and ownership of all Safety, Health, and Wellbeing activities on site. The site is older, with maintenance of equipment being a key challenge to sustain production, and you will need to influence colleagues and managers to work safely and foster a safety culture.

Your responsibilities include guiding Operational Management to uphold high standards, championing innovation, driving continuous improvement, promoting a positive safety culture, and ensuring compliance through the IMS. You will manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) and lead internal and external audits, along with proactive SHE improvement activities.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Certificate or higher
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in setting up a new factory from a compliance and cultural perspective (beneficial)
• ISO Systems experience
• Hands-on approach, shop floor focus, relationship building, and influencing culture and behaviors
