Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a contractor to provide Health & Safety Management Services for a site in Fife. This role involves developing health and safety management systems, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with legislation. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in Health and Safety Management within the FMCG sector, particularly on UK construction projects. With a focus on collaboration and oversight, you will work closely with the client team and Principal Contractors to ensure a safe working environment. Job description

Addison Project require a contractor to provide Health & Safety Management Services for a FMCG site. This scope is for 12 months and is site based in Fife and working within the client team.


Services to be provided:
  1. Assist in developing health and safety management systems on-site, including regular safety audits.
  2. Daily safety site walk arounds, supporting and working with the Construction Managers.
  3. Collation of and reporting of SHE statistics.
  4. Regular operational management meeting attendance to relay all SHE matters.
  5. Production of weekly SOR and monthly safety reports.
  6. Review of design packages to ensure safe-effective installation methodologies.
  7. Ensure all site activities comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
  8. Client-side support, overseeing and auditing the Principal Contractors.

Experience Required:
  1. Demonstrable Health and Safety Management experience working on Onshore UK Construction Projects, specifically within F&B or FMCG sectors.
  2. Minimum NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice.
  3. Demonstrable experience reviewing, writing, adhering to, and guiding on-site teams in current Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
  4. Health & Safety Audits.
  5. Demonstrable all round experience including strong mechanical and electrical.
  6. Up-to-date CDM experience and knowledge.
  7. Excellent reporting and analysis skills.
