About The Role

Join Our Dynamic Operations Team at IPL Inchture!

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Advisor - SHE & Compliance to be a key part of our Operations Team at our Potato packing facility in Inchture. If you are passionate about Operations and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is ideal for you!

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Location: IPL Inchture - Site based
• Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow Health and Safety Policy at all times, promoting a safety culture by ensuring procedures, risk assessments, and SSOWs are followed.
• Undertake SHE audits to validate KPI’s with stakeholders, maintain compliance, and present findings with recommendations.
• Maintain full accreditation to internal and external SHE standards, initiating strategies for continuous improvement.
• Maintain database entries for accidents and near misses, ensuring actions are taken to prevent re-occurrence.
• Manage site risk assessments, deliver training, and set site-specific KPI’s.
• Update and communicate SHE policies and procedures to stakeholders.
• Support reporting and communication to ensure safety standards are met.
• Support First Aid provision, ensuring legal compliance.
• Train stakeholders in accident investigations and lead investigations for high potential incidents.
• Maintain change control database for site changes.
• Advise on SOPs and SHE documentation, ensuring industry best practices.
• Implement initiatives to reduce accidents through communication and campaigns.
• Coordinate compliance training with the training coordinator.
• Monitor SHE standards adherence and report to management for corrective actions.
• Manage external SHE audits.

• First Aid Trained
• Training in H&S / Food Safety auditing
• HACCP trained for food manufacturing
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Experience in a similar role within the Food industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• High standards and controls demonstrating a “good job” culture
