Job summary

Edwards Vacuum in Eastbourne, United Kingdom, is seeking a SHE Advisor to provide operational and administrative support for the SHE function across Eastbourne and satellite sites. You will help implement improvements, support up to 350 employees with daily SHE issues, and assist the SHE Manager in achieving site objectives.

The role requires strong English communication, experience in occupational health and safety, and knowledge of COSHH.

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational health and safety risk assessments.
• COSHH knowledge and application.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification required.
• Awareness of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the SHE Management System at Eastbourne site.
• Plan and carry out internal audits in line with ISO requirements.
• Administer incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide SHE training and awareness to employees.
