Senior Fabricator, Windows sought by a UK leading extruder and distributor of PVCu windows systems. Established for over 40 years, they are an independent, family-owned business who are known for their quality, innovation and performance standards.

They are looking for an experienced fabricator / engineer within the fenestration industry with experience of supporting team members by providing training on tools and processes and to be key point of contact to their window fabricator clients within the South East area.

The Role:

As Senior Fabricator you will play a vital role in supporting new and existing fabricators of the Advance 70 uPVC window and door system. You will provide expert assistance with tooling setup, machinery adjustment to ensure tooling fits correctly, and hands-on fabrication training — particularly for new start-ups and businesses converting from other uPVC profile systems. This role involves site visits, technical support, and ensuring customers are confident and capable in producing to Company standards.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Deliver on-site support to fabricators for tooling installation, adjustment, and optimisation for the Advance 70 system.
  • Provide practical fabrication training to new staff and businesses, covering cutting, welding, corner cleaning, reinforcement, and hardware fitting.
  • Assist fabricators during the changeover process from alternative uPVC systems to Advance 70, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
  • Evaluate and advise on the compatibility of existing machinery with the Company’s profiles.
  • Support customers in achieving high-quality fabrication standards, including alignment with PAS 24 and other industry benchmarks.
  • Record feedback from customer visits on CRM system.
  • Work closely with the internal departments to resolve queries and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and product feedback based on field experience.

The successful Senior Fabricator will demonstrate:

  • Solid understanding of uPVC window and door fabrication processes.
  • Proven experience working with uPVC profile systems – ideally including hands-on knowledge of Advance 70 or similar.
  • Familiarity with fabrication machinery including welders, saws, corner cleaners, and drainage equipment.
  • Experience in supporting fabricators through system transitions or start-up phases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train and support users at all skill levels.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand fabrication manuals and tooling guides.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites within dedicated areas.
  • From £35k upwards depending on experience
