Job summary

K10 is offering a Safety, Health and Environmental Technician Apprenticeship under the Heathrow Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. The role blends office work with visits to construction sites, and involves advising on statutory HE&S requirements, training delivery, and helping to implement ISO 45001 standards.

The programme runs for 24 months, with training funded by K10. To apply, you must have lived in England for the last 3 years, be 18+, and have right to work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute safe systems of work.
• Create and deliver training packages (toolbox talks & inductions).
• Investigate and report incidents in the workplace.
• Analyse data and present findings to the management team
• Undertake site visits to construction sites to check on site safety standards.
• Review and approve risk assessments and method statements.
• Enforce health and safety requirements.
• Identify hazards and implement solutions.
• Planning emergency procedures.
• Adhering to environmental and safety laws.
• Implement health and safety standards such as ISO 45001 etc.
• Assist with SHE audits, inspections and compliance monitoring activities.
• Maintain accurate health, safety and environmental records and documentation.
• Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across the organisation.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to support SHE objectives.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support initiatives to enhance SHE performance.
