Job summary

K10 Apprenticeships Limited in partnership with the Heathrow Shared Apprenticeship Scheme offers a 24-month Safety, Health and Environmental Technician Apprenticeship. The role combines office-based duties with site visits to advise on SHE requirements affecting operations, training packages and risk assessments.

You will develop safe systems, investigate incidents, analyse data, and interact with management and construction teams.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 3/D or above or Functional Skills Level 1+.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute safe systems of work.
• Create and deliver training packages (toolbox talks, inductions).
• Investigate and report incidents in the workplace.
• Analyse data and present findings to management.
• Undertake site visits to construction sites to check safety.
• Review and approve risk assessments and method statements.
• Enforce health and safety requirements.
• Identify hazards and implement solutions.
• Plan emergency procedures.
• Adhere to environmental and safety laws.
• Assist with SHE audits, inspections and compliance monitoring.
• Maintain accurate health, safety and environmental records.
• Promote positive SHE culture and liaise with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
