A global investment bank seeks an SFTR Regulatory Reporting Associate to oversee SFTR processes and lead improvements. Our client is a global investment bank with a strong presence across 30+ countries. As part of continued growth and evolving regulatory requirements, they are now looking to recruit an SFTR Regulatory Reporting Associate to join their EMEA Regulatory Operations team on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Regulatory Oversight function in London, the SFTR Regulatory Reporting Associate will take responsibility for the following duties:
• Oversight of SFTR BAU processes and controls, including breach management, reconciliation, pairing/matching, and escalation of reporting issues
• Lead process improvements and contribute to regulatory change initiatives, working across both regional and global teams
• Maintain close communication with key stakeholders (including Front Office, Compliance, Technology, and global operations) to align reporting strategy
• Manage regulatory breach investigations and lead through to resolution, including remediation, back-reporting, and tech fixes
• Participate in regulatory forums and horizon scanning to anticipate future reporting developments and best practices
The SFTR Regulatory Reporting Associate will meet the following skillset:
• Strong understanding of SFTR regulatory reporting, including industry standards and controls
• Prior experience in a regulatory operations or reporting role within a financial services environment
• Proven stakeholder management capabilities and confidence engaging cross-functionally
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Hands-on experience with digital tools or data analytics (e.g. Excel, data platforms, automation tools) is highly advantageous
• Experience working in or with front/middle/back office teams within a global investment bank
