Job summary

Derbyshire Constabulary is seeking Transferee Constables to join our SOLO team as Sexual Offences Liaison Officers. You will play a vital role in supporting sexual offences investigations by engaging with victims and working with RASSO partners, providing a compassionate and consistent point of contact from start to finish.

Qualifications

• You must have experience of interviewing victims, witnesses and suspects.
• You will provide initial attendance to reports of penetrative sexual assaults and allegations of Rape for victims 18+ to collect and gather evidence during the initial stages of an investigation.
• You will support the management of crime scenes.
• You will complete and record risk assessments, listen and ensure appropriate support is in place.

Responsibilities

• Interview victims, witnesses and suspects as part of initial investigations.
• Assist in collecting evidence at scenes and during early investigations.
• Support crime scene management and documentation of findings.
