About the Role: As a Sexual Offence Nurse Examiner, you will perform assessments and provide evidence to inform legal outcomes, ensuring high-quality care and evidential integrity for children and adults who have experienced sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform holistic, forensic clinical assessments for children, young people, and adults who experienced sexual assault, with attention to detail.
• Interact sensitively with a trauma-informed approach, supporting self-referrals and police referrals.
• Uphold data integrity and confidentiality in documentation and evidence handling.
• Co-produce individual management plans tailored to each client.
• Provide testimony in court and contribute to legal proceedings.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development as part of our Novice to Expert programme.
• Lead initiatives, mentor peers, and engage in programmes to enhance skills and service delivery.
• Support continuous quality improvement under the Forensic Science Regulator with wider teams.

• Registered Nurses with experience or interest in forensic and legal medicine and a minimum of 3 years post-qualification.
