Job Title: Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Adviser

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £20,879 - £22,103 per annum (pro rata of £35,116 - £37,174)

£14,236 - £15,070 per annum (pro rata of £35,116 - £37,174) - SS5

Job type: Permanent, part time

The Role:

At UCB, we have an exciting opportunity to join the new Sexual Misconduct and Harassment service as a Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Adviser. As part of the wider Student Support and Wellbeing Directorate, these roles will be integral to UCB's commitment to creating a safe, respectful and supportive environment for all students and staff.

We are seeking two compassionate and experienced professionals who possess the skills and knowledge to support students and staff who have either experienced or been reported for sexual harassment, sexual violence, or misconduct. Each Adviser will take responsibility for either the reporting party (those who have experienced misconduct) or the responding party (those accused), ensuring all individuals receive fair, confidential and trauma-informed support.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing, proactive service that supports survivors and respondents with empathy and impartiality, while helping shape a campus culture of respect, awareness, and prevention.
