A community healthcare provider in Wigan and Leigh is seeking a Sexual Health Prevention Worker to promote positive sexual health across all ages, focusing on young people and vulnerable groups. The role includes leading the C card scheme and supporting schools with sexual health education. A full driving licence is required. Responsibilities
Locala sexual health services are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the outreach and prevention element of the sexual health service.
As an excellent opportunity has arisen, as we extend our outreach and prevention provision across the Wigan and Leigh district, for a sexual health prevention worker to actively promote positive sexual health across all ages with targeted interventions for young people and vulnerable groups, including young people with learning disabilities and Autism.
You will be required to establish and maintain relationships with key partners, working closely with sexual health/PHSE champions and leads to ensure sexual health promotion is available at every opportunity.
Supporting RSE delivery, attending festivals and events to support positive sexual health campaigns are key aspects of the role.
You will be required to lead on the C card scheme and condom distribution for young people under 25, and work innovatively to share key prevention messages, including the use of digital platforms, whilst supporting schools and colleges in promoting positive sexual health education.
A Full Driving Licence Is Required.
