Sexual Health Prevention Worker
Location: Bradford
Salary: Band 4
37.5 hours per week, permanent
We have an exciting opportunity! Locala sexual health services are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible, and dynamic individual to join the outreach and prevention element of the sexual health service as we extend our outreach and prevention provision across the Bradford district.
The post-holder will actively promote positive sexual health across all ages with targeted interventions for young people and vulnerable groups, including marginalized groups, face-to-face and digitally. The post-holder will establish and maintain relationships with key partners, working closely with sexual health/PHSE champions and leads, ensuring sexual health promotion is available at every opportunity.
The post-holder will organize, lead on, and support events to deliver positive sexual health campaigns and will lead on the C-card scheme and condom distribution for young people under 25. The post-holder will work innovatively to share key prevention messages, including the use of digital platforms to engage service-users and the public. Additionally, the post-holder will support an array of targeted sexual health interventions within a wide range of educational, health, and social care settings.
A full driving license, business insurance, and access to a vehicle for work are required.
