A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a Band 6 Nurse specializing in Sexual Health Services. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for clients, with a focus on STIs and contraception methods. Candidates must have a registered nurse qualification and experience in delivering compassionate care by adhering to best practices.
The post is for a Band 6 Nurse when fully trained. If the applicant doesn’t meet all essential criteria, it will be a Band 5 training position until competencies are completed, including OTE and BASHH.
To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for clients accessing Sexual Health Services. This includes the assessment and treatment of sexually transmitted infections and the care of patients affected or infected by HIV. The role also involves informing and advising individuals on contraception methods, including LARC, and providing up-to-date sexual health promotion.
