The Company:

An excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Lock-stitcher to work for a successful supplier of ladies fashion.

The hours for this role are Monday to Thursday 34hours

The Role:

• Previous experience within production sewing
• Sewing various types of fabrics
• Measuring material and ensuring correct measurements
• Over-locking and operating lock stitch machinery
• Working as part of a team in a busy production environment
• Making up clothing items like aprons and scarfs etc.
• Threading up machine
• Collecting together items for creating garments
• Stitching together parts of the clothing
• Creating and sewing garments from scratch

Skills Required:

• Must have experience gained within a similar role working for a ladieswear supplier.
• Working within a fast paced environment.
• Strong machine and hand stitching and sewing skills.
• Excellent quality of work along with speed and efficiency.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of production methods.
• Good understanding of patterns in order to be able to read how garments are constructed.
