Job description

Sewing Machinist, 38 hours per week, 12.75 per hour, Monday to Friday between 07:45am-16:00pm with an early finish on Friday, progression opportunities available, potential for the position to become permanent, 28 days paid annual leave, free on-site secure park, pension scheme.

This is an excellent opportunity for an industrial sewing machinist to join the sewing team of one of the area's leading bed making companies in their head office. Working within a small team you will have responsibility for the following

• Sewing handles onto the mattresses and divan bases
• Checking finished bases are in line with customer requirements and finished to a professional standard.

The role involves using a variety of sewing machines, therefore a good understanding of industrial sewing machines would be ideal, however if you are an avid sewer and experienced in overlocking, double stitch or twin stitch training can be given.
