Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to produce high-quality leather upholstery for car and aircraft seating. You will operate industrial sewing machines, follow production instructions and maintain safety.

The role offers an hourly rate of £14.00–£14.50, with Monday to Thursday hours 8:00am–5:00pm and Friday 8:00am–1:30pm, plus an early finish on Fridays and an opportunity to join a busy, well-established team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial sewing machinery essential.
• Experience sewing leather upholstery, ideally for automotive or aircraft seating.
• Good knowledge of the upholstery or manufacturing industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to commute to Milton Keynes on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

The Role
