As an Overlocker Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality textile products, ensuring all stitching and finishing work meets the company's exacting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating industrial overlocker sewing machines to manufacture and finish textile products.
• Producing high-quality stitched products in line with customer specifications and production targets.
• Inspecting materials and completed items to ensure exceptional quality standards are maintained.
• Accurately following work instructions, patterns, and production guidelines.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Identifying and reporting any machine faults, material defects, or quality concerns.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across production departments to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience operating industrial overlocker sewing machines is essential.
• Experience within a textile, upholstery, or garment manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to achieving production targets.
• Keen to learn new skills and develop within the business.

Hours & Pay

• £13.28 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
