Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Madeley is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a manufacturing team producing stitched goods to exacting standards.

You will operate a range of industrial machines, follow patterns and production instructions, and complete repairs and finishing tasks while maintaining a clean workstation and meeting daily output targets. The role is full-time, temp-to-perm with an early finish on Fridays. On-site training and a supportive production team are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as an industrial machinist or sewing operator.
• Proficient with lockstitch, overlock and twin-needle machines.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent quality.

As an Industrial Sewing Machinist in Madeley, you will join a manufacturing team producing stitched goods to exacting standards. Operating a variety of industrial machines, you'll follow patterns and production instructions, completing repairs and finishing tasks. Maintaining a clean workstation and meeting daily output targets are key duties, alongside performing basic machine checks. This full-time, temp-to-perm role offers an early finish on Fridays, with hours from 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday. Paying between £13.50 and £14.00 per hour, this position suits someone with prior machining experience who values consistent, quality work within a structured production environment.
