Working Hours: 37.5 Hours, Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £31,000 per year

Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact? VIVO Defence is seeking a Sewage Plant Operative to join our team at RAF Menwith Hill.

This is an essential position, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the site's sewage treatment plant. If you thrive in a practical environment, enjoy problem-solving, and want a stable, full-time role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the role:

Working in a team of 2 as part of the on-site engineering team, in this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out vital maintenance, treatment, sampling, and testing of the sewage plant. You'll also be expected to complete repairs and minor installations, ensuring everything runs efficiently and safely. Health and safety will be a key part of your work, and you'll need to comply with COSHH, RIDDOR, and other relevant regulations. As part of a dedicated team, you'll provide exceptional service to our high-profile client, working closely with military personnel, Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), and VIVO's supply chain.

All your daily tasks will be allocated via the onsite Helpdesk and paper-based task instruction.

What you'll need;

We're looking for someone with an NVQ Level 2 in Water/Wastewater Operations or a similar qualification. Knowledge of health and safety requirements is essential, and a full UK driving licence is required. Experience in a wastewater or sewage plant environment is desirable, and any additional health and safety or first aid qualifications would be a plus.

You must also be able to obtain 'SC' level Security Clearance.

You must be a British or American national to be eligible for this role.
