The Settlements Team manages approximately £800m of annual settlement processes, ensuring timely and compliant operations for NESO. This includes back-office settlement and reporting for Ancillary Services payments and Electricity Trading activities. The team's performance directly impacts NESO’s credibility and regulatory standing.
The Financial Control and Risk Lead will oversee a small team of analysts, responsible for delivering reports, managing audit actions, and maintaining risk and control frameworks. The ideal candidate is analytical, customer-focused, and capable of data interrogation and process improvement, working collaboratively with onshore and offshore teams.
This role requires resilience and ambition, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and ensure team excellence.
This position can be based in Warwick or Wokingham, with hybrid working options. Full-time, part-time, and flexible arrangements are considered.
We seek visionary individuals who are passionate about data analysis and detail-oriented. The candidate should have experience in leadership, stakeholder management, and strong IT skills, especially with Excel. Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and support team members are essential.
Salary: £62,000 - £72,000 pa, dependent on experience
Additional benefits include a performance bonus, 26 days annual leave, and a competitive pension scheme with double matching contributions up to 12%.
