Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking a Settlements specialist for Prime Brokerage in London. The role requires managing unmatched trades, communicating effectively with teams to minimize fails, and generating reports. Candidates should have strong knowledge of International Markets and a proven relationship management background. This position operates in a hybrid model.
The role is to look after the Settlements for Prime Brokerage covering all International Markets based in London to join the team, focused on communication with the Customer Service Team and the Counterparties in order to maximise Settlements and minimise unmatched & Fails in a timely fashion. The business includes Fixed Income, Equity and Repos.
The Candidate must have good Settlements knowledge across International Markets and be comfortable discussing Settlement Mismatches for resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring Unmatched trades are confirmed and matched before Intended Settlement Date, and communicating mismatches to the Prime Customer Service team
Ensuring Failing trades are chased for delivery and partial settlements agreed, to minimise fails
Producing daily reports for the Prime Middle Office & Customer Service teams, so they are updated on all trade status

Hybrid for BGC Partners / Cantor Fitzgerald across the working week, means three days office based and two days remote.
