Job summary

Jark PLC is seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a long-term groundworks project in the Suffolk area. You will join a well-established team and work on setting out, surveying, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure project accuracy and quality.

The role requires reading technical drawings, site plan interpretation, and a right to work in the UK. CSCS Card and own equipment are preferred to start ASAP in Ipswich region.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proven experience in setting out on groundworks/civil projects.
• Valid CSCS Card preferred or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for all aspects of groundworks.
• Interpreting and working from drawings and site plans.
• Carrying out surveys and ensuring accuracy on site.
• Liaising with site management and subcontractors.
• Maintaining quality control and accurate records.
