Setting-out Engineer

We are currently recruiting for several positions. Our client, a reputable RC Frame & Groundworks contractor, is seeking three experienced Site Engineers/Setting Out Engineers to work on their RC Frame & Groundwork Package in Nottingham. Successful candidates should be able to start by 01/03/22. The contract will involve a mixture of earthworks and reinforced concrete works.

Estimated project duration is 13 months. As a Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Accurate setting out and surveying
2. Conducting quality control checks and maintaining build records
3. Assisting in supervising contractors on site

Requirements:

• A CSCS card is required
• Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor
• Experience in RC work and groundwork, with a minimum of 3 years UK experience
• Proficiency with surveying instruments, familiarity with method statements and risk assessments, and sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork
