Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support major civils schemes across the UK. You will set out earthworks and piling, interpret drawings, and maintain QA records on site.

Use Leica/Trimble/Topcon equipment, liaise with site teams, and ensure works meet design specs, quality standards and programme deadlines. CSCS is essential for site access.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects.
• Strong earthworks and piling experience.
• Experience completing QA documentation and quality inspections.
• Proficient with Leica, Trimble or Topcon surveying equipment.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• CSCS Card (essential).

• Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.

• Identifying and resolving technical issues on site.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
