Our client is seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a Southern Water Sewer Project in Kent, scheduled to last 12 to 18 months, starting as soon as possible.
- Deliver site engineering for sewer and water projects.
- Oversee and advise on utility and civil-based projects.
- Provide setting out for the project team and collate as-laid information.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections.
- Produce documentation for site tasks, including inspection and test plans.
- Liaise with stakeholders.
- Possess experience in a utilities environment, preferably sewer or water.
- Have knowledge of deep excavation and trenchless pipe installation methods.
- Work effectively in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Apply digital technology knowledge.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Understand and apply CDM regulations and make engineering decisions related to design.
- Degree in Engineering.
- Chartered membership status with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
