Our client is seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a Southern Water Sewer Project in Kent, scheduled to last 12 to 18 months, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver site engineering for sewer and water projects.
  2. Oversee and advise on utility and civil-based projects.
  3. Provide setting out for the project team and collate as-laid information.
  4. Conduct site surveys and inspections.
  5. Produce documentation for site tasks, including inspection and test plans.
  6. Liaise with stakeholders.
  7. Possess experience in a utilities environment, preferably sewer or water.
  8. Have knowledge of deep excavation and trenchless pipe installation methods.
  9. Work effectively in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
  10. Apply digital technology knowledge.
  11. Demonstrate excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  12. Understand and apply CDM regulations and make engineering decisions related to design.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Chartered membership status with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
