Job description

Our South East Technical Surveillance Unit (SETSU) provides comprehensive technical support to regional law enforcement and investigative teams.

We are seeking an IT Technician to join as a senior team member, responsible for designing, testing, and implementing various IT systems, both on-premises and in Microsoft Azure Cloud. The role also involves third-line support for IT service inquiries regionally and nationally.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. You should be familiar with computers, IT networks, and infrastructure, and able to think logically in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Flexibility regarding working hours is required, with occasional travel and overnight stays. A full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Due to security requirements, candidates must pass vetting at SC level and other security checks. Applicants must be British nationals, have resided in the UK for the past five years, and meet specific criteria regarding nationality and residence.
