Job summary

Anchor Foster Care is seeking a Sessional Worker to provide direct support to children and young people across designated areas in the West Midlands.

This casual, hourly role requires flexibility including weekends and school holidays; a driving licence and own car are essential. Applicants should be prepared to travel within the area, undergo safe recruitment checks, and may be asked to take part in an interview test.

Qualifications

• Experience providing direct support to children and young people.
• Experience with children who have complex needs.
• Willingness to supervise children overnight when required.
• Attendance and reporting at meetings involving children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Care for or supervise children and young people (respite/emergency), including overnights.
• Attend and report on meetings involving children and young people.
• Provide direct support to children and young people as part of a casual, hourly role.

Anchor Foster Care is currently looking for a Sessional Worker to work with children and young people, in the following areas

This is a ‘casual’, hourly paid role. Hourly Rate is £13 for week days and £15 for weekends and bank holidays.

• Caring for or supervising children and young people (respite/emergency), including overnights
• Attending and reporting on meetings involving children and young people

Important

information

You will need to be available to work flexibly; this will include school holidays, after school and at weekends, including some overnights. You will also need to have a driving licence and your own car.
