Job summary

Anchor Foster Care is seeking a Sessional Worker to support children and young people across Croydon, Kent, and surrounding areas. The role is casual and hourly paid, with travel to listed areas and immediate start after checks.

Hourly rate £13 on weekdays and £15 on weekends/bank holidays; driver’s licence and own car required. Interviews will include a test and flexible hours including school holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people providing direct support.
• Experience helping with events, activities and groups.
• Experience caring for or supervising children and young people (respite/emergency).
• Experience attending and reporting on meetings involving children and young people.

• Croydon through to Sussex
• Kent

This is a ‘casual’, hourly paid role. Hourly Rate is £13 for week days and £15 for weekends and bank holidays.

Required experience

We are keen to hear from people who have experience of:

• Working with children and young people providing direct support
• Helping with events, activities and groups
• Caring for or supervising children and young people (respite/emergency)
• Attending and reporting on meetings involving children and young people

Important information

You will need to be available to work flexibly; this will include school holidays, after school and at weekends. You will also need to have a driving licence and your own car.
