CHEC invites an experienced dermatology clinician to join our expanding community dermatology service in Southend. The sessional role offers flexible alignment to clinicians' availability and allows independent practice across a range of adult skin conditions that would otherwise go to secondary care.

Working within CHEC's network of community clinics, you will provide rapid specialist opinion and high-quality care in convenient local settings, contributing to service development and NHS

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Diploma in Dermatology.
• Demonstrable experience working in dermatology.
• Hospital-based dermatologists must provide evidence of relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and manage a wide range of adult dermatological conditions.
• Provide rapid access to specialist opinion and high‑quality care in community settings.

About the Role

CHEC is looking to recruit an experienced dermatology clinician to join our team and support the continued growth of our community dermatology services. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and manage a wide range of adult dermatological conditions that would otherwise be referred to secondary care.

Our community dermatology service provides patients with rapid access to specialist opinion and high-quality care within convenient community clinic settings.

We welcome applications from:

• Consultant Dermatologist
• Hospital-based dermatologists working at Registrar or Staff Grade level
• Accredited GPwERs in Dermatology
• GPs with a recognised Diploma in Dermatology and substantial dermatology experience

Essential requirements:

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Diploma in Dermatology
• Demonstrable experience working in dermatology
• Hospital-based dermatologists must provide supporting evidence of relevant training
