Chelsea FC is seeking a Casual Football Coach to deliver safe, inclusive, high quality coaching sessions across our core programmes in London. You will work across multiple sites including Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster, with sessions running throughout the day.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and a positive, can-do attitude, plus an FA coaching qualification and an enhanced DBS check. This is a casual, variable schedule across weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification (Level 1 equivalent).
• In-date FA Safeguarding and First Aid in Football; driving licence or access to transport.
• Enhanced DBS check required or provided.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, inclusive and high quality coaching daily across core programmes.
• Develop relationships with local youth clubs, schools and community organisations.
• Deliver activities deemed appropriate by the Line Manager and support outreach.
• Support the wider team by sharing information and opportunities to improve delivery.

Main Responsibilities

• To deliver safe, inclusive and high quality coaching sessions on a daily basis across the core programmes. These to include, but not limited to all In-School and Out of School activity, Player Development Programme activity, sessions at a post 16 football programme and the various activity delivered during the school holidays.
• To deliver on activity to support, develop, engage and enhance the relationships with local youth football clubs/schools/organisations/leisure centres/local authority/The Club.
• To deliver on any activity deemed appropriate and reasonable by the Line Manager.
• Support the wider team by networking and sharing relevant information and opportunities to further enhance the out-reach delivery programme.

Qualifications

• A minimum of the new FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification. (FA Level 1 is the equivalent qualification).
• In date FA Safeguarding Children course & the FA Introduction to First Aid in Football driving licence or able to travel to sites via public transport
• Enhanced DBS check (otherwise we will put you through one)

• Been involved in community/grass roots sports as a participant or coach.
• Worked as part of a team within a sporting environment.
