Our Football Academy aims to bridge the gap between grassroots youth football and men's semi-professional football, while enabling players to study full-time and gain vocational qualifications in Sports Coaching/Sports Science.
With over 20 years of experience, the Academy prides itself on high standards in both football and academics. We are partnered with Bedfont Sports, providing access to semi-professional football, match day facilities, and connections within the football pyramid.
We are seeking a Sessional Academy Football Coach to plan and deliver coaching sessions, lead squads during training, and assist or lead match day activities such as warm-ups, team talks, and providing tactical information during games.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of coaching experience with players aged 14 and above, hold a UEFA C Coaching qualification, FA Safeguarding Children, and FA Introduction to First Aid in Football. A high level of commitment to the weekly training schedule, trials, taster days, and pre-season is required, with flexibility for dates, times, and venues.
You should be able to engage, motivate, and discipline young players, work independently during training sessions, and be capable of planning and running sessions effectively. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting equipment and traveling between venues such as Goals Tolworth, Bedfont Sports Club, and Kingston College.
The successful candidate will be eligible for salary increases based on annual cost of living reviews.
Closing date for applications is 16th July 2025.
Benefits include an excellent pension scheme (Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme), subsidised sports facilities, professional development opportunities, and a salary sacrifice cycle scheme. Benefits are pro-rated for part-time staff.

Applications from individuals regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy, maternity, race, religion, or belief, and marriage or civil partnerships are encouraged.
Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check, provide references, complete an online search, and demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK.
