A leading sports academy seeks a Sessional Academy Football Coach to deliver quality coaching and support players transitioning between grassroots and semi-professional football. Candidates must have a UEFA C qualification and experience with youth coaching, along with essential certifications. The role offers flexible training schedules and potential for growth.
Our Football Academy is designed to bridge the gap between grassroots youth football and men's semi-professional football, while enabling players to study full-time and gain vocational qualifications in Sports Coaching/Sports Science. With over 20 years of experience, the Academy prides itself on high standards both on the football and academic fronts. We are currently partnered with Bedfont Sports, providing access to semi-professional football, match day facilities, and broader football connections.
We are seeking a coach to plan and deliver coaching sessions, lead squads during training, and assist or lead match day activities such as warm-ups, team talks, and providing feedback to players.
Commitment to the weekly training schedule, including trials, taster days, and pre-season, with flexibility in dates and times. Ability to motivate and discipline young players, work independently during training sessions, and plan effectively.
The role offers potential salary increases based on annual cost of living reviews. Benefits include a pension scheme, subsidised sports facilities, professional development opportunities, and a cycle-to-work scheme. The position is pro-rated for part-time staff.
Closing date for applications: 16th July 2025.
We are committed to equality of opportunity and encourage applications from all backgrounds. Successful candidates will undergo DBS checks, reference checks, online searches, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
